They should be famous because of the magnesium-alloy case which is much stronger than normal plastic, drops and bumps having more success of not destroying it. Another advantage of the Durabook models is the spill-resistance design preventing the keyboard, touchpad or other buttons to get liquid inside.

Both the D13RY and D14RY Durabook have Windows XP (Professional or Home Edition) but are ready for Windows Vista. No release dates or prices as of now.
