The Flybook - Ready To Impress

Posted March 20th, 2007 by Marius Trusculescu

The new notebook Flybook is showing at CEBIT is quite an interesting device built around connectivity in our opinion. Users of the V5 will have access at WiFI 802.11 a/b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 and …mobile telephony as the device supports an impressive number of standards (HSDPA/UMTS/EDGE/GPRS/GSM for data, voice and SMS).

Flybook Luxury Notebook

On the hardware side we have a 40 GB hard drive, 1 GB of RAM (2 GB version also available), an Intel Core DUO 1.06 GHz processor. Even if the included 8.9″ display runs at just WXGA resolution (1024×600), customers have the option of rendering a 1800 x 1440 resolution trough an external screen. The luxury notebook, how it was advetized by Flybook, measures just 235 x 163 x 30 (mm) and its weight is around 1.2 kg when fully equipped which means the V5 is an ultra mobile notebook, rivaling LG’s C1 Express Dual.
