Belkin Cooling Stand To Prevent Laptop Overheating

Posted January 17th, 2007 by Alex Ion

Belkin Cooling Stand

Almost every laptop in the world gets hot once in a while. This is why Belkin, like other manufacturers, have thought of a cooling system that would be powered by an USB port. It makes some space between the laptop and the stand by allowing natural air flow in between. The laptop fan designed on the Belkin Cooling Stand is unlike others, that draw the heat and push it out. They are using heat’s natural behavior, so they push hot air to the channel to push away the damaging heat.

With the dimensions it has, the Cooling Stand is very easy to fit in your laptop bag, and the USB connection makes it a low power consumer. For the price of $29.99 I don’t think this will be a bad investment even if you don’t like it. Release date is set for late February.
