ASUS UL80Vt-A1 Black Laptop

This is a nice portable laptop which is both thin and light and it features a 14 inch widescreen high definition LED LCD. It also includes a 1.3 GHz Intel SU7300 Core 2 Duo processor, 4 GB of RAM and a 320 GB hard drive. There is a built in DVD Super Multi drive and to handle graphics nVidia G210M with 512 MB RAM which is switchable with the Intel GMA 4500MHD.
This is a great alternative to a netbook and the other big selling point is that a fully charged battery will give you 12 hours of use. It also offers Wi-Fi support at 802.11 b, g or n standards. There is an integrated webcam and built in Altec Lansing speakers for decent sound quality. It is also efficient in terms of power usage and coupled with the cooling system this helps prevent it from heating up too much unlike some other laptops. It comes pre-installed with Windows 7 Home Premium and it will cost you around the $800 mark.
