How does this sounds to you? Antique laptop? Yes, is true. Some guy has transformed a Hewlett-Packard ZT1000 laptop into a collection item. He is one of the artist of the Steampunk subculture. Steampunk represents a new do-it-yourself garage-hacker trend to redesign modern gadgets using the technology and the aesthetics of the Victorian Era. Richard Nagy has create a mahogany-stained pine case with leather wrist rests tacked beneath its copper keys and sits on brass feet.

Its case was decorated with clockwork gears. There was hard work and many time spent on eBay for getting all the parts. But finally the result was amazing. Richard Nagy has created a masterpiece.

The laptop turns on with an antique clock-winding key by way of a custom-built ratcheting switch made from old clock parts.
