Under the name of Aquos, Sharp introduced 3 series of HD displays with the diagonal of the viewing area sized from 26″ to 65″ targeting a wide range of consumers. All the 9 displays (3 in each series) are HD compliant offering 1080p images at a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Aquos by Sharp

The highest ranked in the line is the HDTV featuring a 65″ viewing area for a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels. The image quality is astonishing as the product offers a 1200:1 contrast and a brightness of 420 cd/m². Also, the 6 ms response time will permit dynamic scenes to be displayed without even a trace of image freezing while the 170\170 degrees viewing angles are a great asset for such a big screen TV.

If you are wondering if this product is right for you please consider the fact that the TV tuner supports only the NTSC, ATSC and QAM standards so make sure you are in the appropriate area when buying it.
