Analyst are almost certain that the format wars of the next generation DVD is not going to stop even if the new compromise solutions have been introduced. As a confirmation of this idea numerous producers have released next-gen players for either the HD-DVD or for the Blu-ray users.

Looking at all these products one has impressed me more than the others. It is the Philips BDP900 blu-ray player. This cool looking device is more than an eye-candy with features that make them worthy of the next-gen title. It can play the 25 GB single-layer BD (blu-ray discs) or the 50 GB dual-layer BD and it can also play the current DVDs providing enhancement for there images to the 1080p resolution of the HDTV (High Definition TV). The video and audio outputs ensure a rich user experience with crystal clear image and surround sound.
Presented at the CES in Vegas the product has a price of $999 and is available for immediate purchase.
