It may be a bit chunkier than some flat screen HDTVs but this 65 inch home theater TV from Mitsubishi offers terrific performance. It supports a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels, has a smooth refresh rate of 120Hz and offers x.v.Color which claims to deliver up to 80% more color than standard HDTVs. It supports the widescreen format and it is 3D ready. It also has a built in HDTV tuner for digital cable broadcasts.
Connectivity options are good with 4 HDMI ports, 3 Component Video inputs and a USB port for photos or music. It also offers CEC which allows you to send control options through the HDMI cable and control multiple devices. The Net Command with IR learning feature ensures you can network your system devices for an easy to control home theater system. It is Energy Star 3 qualified and it will cost you around $2,000 to order. This range also comes in larger varieties up to 82 inches if you really need a mammoth screen.
