LG LHB977 Home Theater in a Box

If you’re on the look out for a home theater in a box and you don’t want to spend a fortune then this system from LG is worth checking out. It packs a total of 1000 watts of output, and has support for Blu-ray, DVD upscaling and a host of other services. The design is pretty stylish with a couple of tower speakers, 2 satellites, a center speaker and your bass unit. It offers support for Dolby Digital Plus, Dolby TrueHD and DTS HD audio. It also has 2 HDMI inputs, a USB port and an iPod dock so you’re covered for movies, gaming, photos and music.
With access to NetCast you can hook it up to your network and get YouTube, Pandora, Cinema Now and Netflix services on your HDTV. This offers streaming videos, radio and some movies and there is a built in FM/AM radio as well. Amazon is offering this reduced to $478.58 which looks like great value to me.
