LG unveiled at CES 2007 its “Super Multi Blue Player” or LG BH100. Furthermore LG BH100 won the Best Award for Home Video. This device is able to read both Blu-Ray and HD DVD discs. The resolution of 1920×1080 pixels supported and the touch sensor buttons are other strong points of LG BH100. It supports HDMI Out and Optical / 5.1CH out. It will be available on the market starting from March in US and probably in summer for Europe. The price for US is $1,199.

There is a limitation for LG Super Multi Blue Player. This comes from the fact that LG player doesn’t support Audio CDs. Other worrying is that LG BH100 doesn’t support the all range of HD DVD interactive features. On the market appeared a competitor, a PC player with same functions as LG BH100. The price is the same, but it seem that GGW-H10N product can play Audio CDs and it loads more quickly Blu-Ray discs. The battle will begin soon!
