A Home Theater PC From Thermaltake

Posted January 14th, 2007 by Marius Trusculescu

Thermaltake is best known for the computer chassis and cooling products but I think that is about to change since the debut of the new Mozart SX VC7001SNS.
When buying a home theater unit, people generally look at two factors: the design and the functionality and I think Thermaltake’s device has them both. I really don’t consider you need convincing about the overall look of the product as the picture says it all. The slim chassis (only 90 mm - approx. 3.5″) and the obvious attention that was given to the details recommends this product to every living-room.

How about the functionality? A remote control is a most and Thermaltake has tried to include as many functions as possible into the one shipped with the VC7001. Also, the next controlling unit, the front panel is very useful as it includes an LCD display while also allowing access to the commands and ports available (USB 2.0, 1394 and audio ports). Reaching the entertainment area I feel this product has them all: video playback, music playback, picture watching, TV channel viewing & recording and many more just for your
Overall I feel Thermaltake has reached its purpose of creating the perfect balance between functionality and good looks. It’s my opinion that the Mozart SX is a great product but in such a rapidly developing business a better product may come even while I am typing this.
