It seems there is a real glut of all in one devices on the market nowadays and here is Dell’s effort. A printer, copier and scanner all in one this is available for around $100 which places it at the cheap end of the market. It has a simple look and it is functional, dispensing with popular all in one features like a fax machine and auto document feeder in order to keep the price down.
This no frills device has a basic easy to use control panel and works as a 1200×2400 dpi scanner. It prints up to 4800 dpi and can churn out nearly eight pages a minute but the photo printing capability is less accomplished. Reviews report the need to frequently replace the cartridges which are very expensive and highlight the poor quality photo prints as a major drawback. It also lacks an Ethernet port but then you get what you pay for and this is a cheap device.
