This new navigation device from Garmin is packed with useful features. It is a widescreen device with a 4.3 inch WQVGA touchscreen display and an ultra slim design. The built in Bluetooth allows it to work as a hands free mobile phone device and it can broadcast phone calls and directions through your car stereo. It comes pre-loaded with map data from NAVTEQ with almost 6 million points of interest in North America, Canada and Puerto Rico.
The device allows multi-point routing, it tells you what lane you should be in and there is even a new pedestrian mode which gives you instructions for getting to your destination on public transport. The one touch “Where am I?” function will give you exact co-ordinates and points of interest nearby and it will automatically mark the position of your vehicle when you remove the device from the windshield mount. There are loads of additional tools including fuel and mileage reports, weather, currency exchange and you can download geo-located photos.
