If you are golf mad then you might be interested in this Garmin GPS device. It is waterproof and designed for outdoor use and it features 3 inch color touchscreen which is readable even in the glare of sunlight. It comes preloaded with U.S. gold course maps including fairways, hazards and greens. It can give you an exact distance for each shot and even suggest an approach. It can also be used as a scorecard for up to four players and you can save the results and transfer them to your home computer.
The device is compliant with USGA rules so it is an edge you can legally have. The constant updates on your distance to each hole are undeniably handy. The device requires no subscription fees and will do the job straight out of the box. It comes with a belt clip and a USB cable. You can track your results over time and even download free updates from the Garmin website. It isn’t cheap though and will set you back around $400.
