This device is a really great idea to deal with those insistent and irritating telemarketers. It helps to automatically remove your phone number from their lists and it won’t interfere with your normal call and telephone functions. It basically flags calls that are made with computer assistance and emits a special tone to tell the computer that your phone line has been disconnected. The vast majority of telemarketers use a computer dialing system and the three tone mode will even take care of newer systems and stop them bothering you anymore.
The obvious drawback is that occasionally a legitimate call may come through from an organisation using computer dialling. You also get some marketers who dial by hand and they will still get through. Every time you pick up the phone you’ll hear a beep, if it was a computer dialled telemarketer then they will automatically hang up and theoretically remove you from their list. According to the reviews this has worked great for some people and not for others but at just $34.99 if you are getting a lot of unwanted calls it could be worth a try.
