This is a 6 inch reader for eBooks which is only 0.4 inches thick and weighs less than 9 pounds. This portable device also features a touchscreen. You can use the touchscreen for navigation and you can also use the virtual keyboard to take notes or if you prefer you can write freehand using the stylus provided. It supports the ePub and PDF formats and it is capable of holding up to 350 separate titles with a built in memory of 512 MB.
You can access books via Sony’s eBookstore and you can also get your hands on over 500,000 books via Google for free because they are in the public domain. The reader technology offers a subtle screen for comfortable reading and it can be seen in various lighting conditions including direct sunlight. A single battery charge will give you around 2 weeks worth of reading time. It also includes an onboard dictionary and it is compatible with PC or Mac.
