Safety Shield - Protecting Your TV
Posted May 23rd, 2007 by Alex Ion

I know myself with a bad temper, because it happened not once, but twice to break a chair watching UEFA Champions League when my local soccer team played. The chair got the pressure so that I don’t throw anything towards the TV. Imagine how I felt when I saw that they have TVs screen protectors for those expensive large plasmas or LCDs.
I am also thinking of those Nintendo Wii players that often lose the controllers and break screens worth thousands of dollars, they would be happy with the protector, too! It’s called the Safety Shield and the manufacturers assure us to get 98% of the light through, which is almost un-noticeable to the eye. It will also be a way of reducing the UV rays, cool.
The price is not yet disclosed by the Taiwanese manufacturer LCDArm, and it will be produced in configurations from 30-inch to 46-inch. I am politely asking these guys to make it available internationally much faster, because the new soccer season is about to start in a few months and I need it! - ALEX ION
