Posted February 5th, 2007 by Alex Ion

Polymer Vision and Telecom Italy have joined forces to launch the first rollable display device in the world. The “Cellular Book” will use Polymer Vision technology allowing it a larger display than the actual size of the mobile device, 5-inch wide. It will be able to read newspapers, books or any other content that you actually download from Telecom Italy Network using a SIM card, on the built-in 4GB memory. Taking advantage of the Italian mobile network you will also be able to read e-mails or to play music and you should know that it comes with a mini USB slot to synchronize it to your computer.
