MultiTouch, the Personal Skills Trainer

Posted March 4th, 2008 by Alex Ion

Multitouch personal skills trainerWhat was the first thing that came into your mind when you read multi-touch in the title? You’re probably like me and you probably thought of the human-computer interaction where one uses force and the other one recognizes it, but to my surprise MultiTouch is also a personal skills trainer that uses multiple repetitions to develop your soccer abilities.

So what does it do exactly? The ball is connected to a cord that you use on your waist and every time you kick it, the ball comes back. That’s a self training ball and it was designed for either beginners or advanced players to improve reaction, first touch or left-right coordination and balance. It can even suit goalkeepers to improve their reaction times and catching. Here’s a video of it:

From what I can think of this is also a great trainer for those players that have been injured and can’t train harder or it could be used when the weather won’t allow a team-training. The price for Size 2, 3 and 4 balls are $11.95, $21.95 and $21.95, but they seem to offer bulk deals so if you’re a coach or run a soccer club you may want to contact MultiTouch.
