Ever ran out of batteries, be it your mobile phone, digital camera or any other gadget of those eleventy zillions you have? I did and I was so mad that I forgot the recharger at home. No more pictures for me or no more mobile talks with … ok let’s not go into details. The fact is that the guys at Moixa Energy Ltd are very smart to think of USB rechargeable batteries.
Over 15 billion batteries are thrown away after use, each year, so we need to start looking for alternatives. You will no longer need a special device to charge your batteries, because computers or laptops are more and more widely marketed and USB is no longer anything new. You can recharge them at work, at home, while traveling or whatever you may think of. What is much more interesting is that they really do have brains. They are offering mobile phone USB batteries for the major mobile phones like Blackberry, Sony-Ericsson or Motorola, AAA/AA mini-USB batteries and of course 9v USB batteries.

You will pay about $24 for a 2 cell pack of AA batteries recharged via USB. Pricey? I like them even if it is. Check up USBcell.
