Horntones FX-550 to better Pimp My Ride
Posted February 14th, 2007 by Alex Ion
MTV’s Pimp my Ride is always a nice show that I like watching to see how a really low car without doors, motor or wheels turns into a queen or a king of the roads. However I never seen a product like Horntones to be ever implemented.
Every driver in the world had to press the horn once in a while. You get stuck in traffic, you press the magic button, right? But what if your horn is smart enough to play audio files, classic or recorded by you, that would kindly ask all those hundreds of cars in front of you to “move your damn ass sugar pops, coz I need to get through”. I’ve been stuck many times as Bucharest is a very crowded city, so I wish I had it back then. Horntones FX-550 has the ability to store up to 8 audio files, loadable via USB.
The only problem and disadvantage of this new device is that many smart-ass drivers will use ambulance or fire trucks sounds and as Alexander Yoon says, “beat them for me” if they do it. Release date for Horntones FX-550 is set for April but they will accept advanced orders from March 1st. Price should be somewhere near $150.
