A Bluetooth Music Receiver From Sony Ericsson

Posted January 16th, 2007 by Marius Trusculescu

The MBR-100 is a new gadget Sony Ericsson introduced to boost their consumers phone music playing experience. Practically the MBR-100 is a Bluetooth device that allows streaming the music from a phone to a nearby sound system other than the headphones or the phone speakers.

MBR-100 Bluetooth audio streaming device Coming with cables that allow it to connect to almost any sound system, the MBR-100 will act as an intermediary device between you phone and the speakers pretty much like an iPod dock. However the Bluetooth provides an extra edge as consumers have a wireless connection and the phone can be used as some kind of remote controller permitting you to pause, change the volume and even skip plays in your playlist.

This gadget looks really apealing, but an obvious downsize is the limited range of current Bluetooth connections so I am looking forward to see if, and how the producers managed to avoid this issue.
