This is a good quality widescreen monitor at the budget end of the price pool. The resolution is 1440 x 900 with 2000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, a 5 millisecond response time, decent brightness of 300 cd/m2 and a 160 degree viewing angle. This monitor is a good choice for the home or office, the widescreen display is great for gaming or multiple application working and you can also view two full size documents side by side.
The OptiSync digital/analog inputs support both DVI and VGA inputs for flexibility in your connectivity. It is easy to set up and configure via the on screen menu and ViewSonic Wizard software and it will work with PC or Mac (it is also Windows Vista approved). It is slim and comes in a choice of black or silver. It is also energy efficient and Energy Star compliant. You can get your hands on one of these for well under $200.
