ViewSonic N1630w LCD TV

This display will work well as a high definition television or a PC monitor. There is a 15.6 inch widescreen capable of a resolution of 1360 x 768 pixels, a dynamic contrast ratio of 10,000:1 and a 5 millisecond response time for smooth action. The set also features high quality brightness and a built in ATSC/NTSC/QAM tuner. The built in speakers are not fantastic quality which is something you’ll generally find with small displays.
Connectivity is great for a small TV with an HDMI input, an S-Video input, a Composite input, a Component input and a PC input. There is also audio in and out and it comes with a remote control. The viewing angle isn’t great and the speakers are tinny. It can be a real challenge to find a decent television at this kind of size but for under $200 this is a reasonable option. While it won’t blow you away it is fit for purpose as a kitchen TV.

Thanks for sharing this.
You mentioned that the sound is not the best quality and I’ve found the same in a friends tv that’s a similar model. Is there a good external sound option that works well for this size TVs?
