Nec PlasmaSync 42XM5 Plasma TV has a 42” plasma display panel. The display has a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels. The television includes features like advanced accublend technology, video noise reduction, anti-reflective filter, split screen and crystal clear. The screen has an image aspect ratio of 16:9 that produces perfect images. The device has progressive scanning feature that increases the picture quality. The screen has anti-reflective coating that rectifies blurs in images due to ambient lighting conditions.

Nec PlasmaSync 42XM5 Plasma TV has excellent connectivity options with video interface, composite connection, component connection, PC VGA interface and S-video. The television supports up to 1.07 billion colours that produces rich and vibrant images. It has a wide viewing angle of 160 degree that provides viewing comfort to viewers.
