The new MW221U and MW201U wide screen LCD Monitors that Asus released on Friday are meant to provide the customers with new ways to enjoy the increasing media and eye-candy available on computers today. Benefiting from a Microsoft Windows Vista Certification the two new products will certainly deliver best performance when displaying the new Aero UI (User Interface) in Microsoft’s new OS (operating system).

If the Windows Vista compliance, doesn’t tell you much about the real performance capabilities of the two new devices let’s see what they can really do. The 20″ and 22″ LCD displays offer an incredible 2 ms response time when displaying dynamic scenes so be sure you won’t notice even a glimpse of image lagging on this two monitors. To further detail the multimedia capabilities of them I will mention that both the MW221U and the MW201U have built-in DVI support and built-in stereo speakers with a headphone jack and they are both compliant with the HDCP (High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection) standard.

All in all I must admit the two new products would look great on anyone’s desktop and the features they pack would certainly make the PC experience more enjoyable.
