AOC 2218Ph LCD Monitor, Has Mac Flair

Surprise surprise! AOC has announced recently their newest $429.99 2218Ph LCD monitor that according to them will bring PC users a touch of that long-expected and amazing Mac flavour.
“Incredibly sleek design and powerful performance, AOC’s 2218Ph goes head-to-head with the latest and greatest of today’s computer monitors and comes out ahead of the pack” the press release says.
According to some rumors supported by this image below, this beautiful and elegant display features an amazing metallic workmanship with a polished aluminum cabinet, a zinc multi-flex stand and a piano black finish.

In addition to all that, it boasts with a 1,680 x 1,050 native resolution, HDCP-compliant HDMI input, 2-millisecond response time, 12,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, illuminating touch-key and obviously a Windows Vista Certified sticker.
So … start saving money and turn your PC into a Mac or at least try repeating that in your head.

Wow. I have a Dell 24 inch, but bought mine for over $900 a few years back (and that was a great deal back then). Thinking about picking up my parents one of these (my mom still uses a CRT… YUCK!)
