F-117 Stealth Fighter Inspired House

Haus F - F117 Stealth Fighter House

is what architect Meixner Schluter Wendt came up with for a house in Kronberg, Germany. He had to find the right design both meeting the client’s desire while following local guidelines and restrictions. This is how the F-117 Stealth Fighter house was born, with three important parts. The cellar which is completely underground (doh), the glass wrapped garden level with the kitchen and a family room and the pitched roof clad in black sheet metal that has the bathrooms and the bedrooms. I don’t know about you but they sure managed to get me feeling like a pilot when I see it.
