Posted January 18th, 2007 by Marius Trusculescu

Microsoft and Razer, both well known companies in the PC accessories arena, have been working together to create a new gaming keyboard and the result is the cool new Reclusa. It’s something about the design of the gaming accessories that draws me much like the design of the race cars and this device is no exception as it benefits from a very cool sleek look.

But (professional) gaming means passing over the great looks and moving in the functionality domain. Well this new gadget has both of them. The keyboard has more than your conventional features offering with the two built-in USB ports and the true power of 12 fully customizable buttons including two 360 degrees jog-dials and 4 bumpers buttons. Distributed over the whole surface of the keyboard they permit a better access and ensure a better gameplay.

The Reclusa also permits creating of profiles that include keys mapping and macros for easier transitions between games. When you play in darker rooms the keyboard keys glow giving you an advantage by allowing to see the buttons and providing a cool look for the desktop. You will have to wait until March 2007 to be able to purchase the Reclusa at a price of $69.95.
