JBL On Air Control with Wireless 2.4G Satellites

JBL On Air Control is trying to make the “No strings attached” old say a true thing. Is it true that when setting up your audio speakers for perfect surround you get lots of wires that you should hide under the carpet otherwise they will stay in the air?
JBL announced at CES the On Air Control 2.4G wireless satellites to hand on your walls, that incorporate a 2.4G wireless receiver and an amplifier to work up to 30-feet. Each transmitter supports up to two pairs of speakers or a subwoofer. The satellites have dual-channel surround and 30Watts power so don’t expect to chip away your walls, because it’s not going to happen. They are designed to portable sound in rooms where the wires wouldn’t achieve it.
