This is quite a powerful machine and a fairly attractive option in this price range. It will cost you just under $700 and the specs are strong. There is an Intel Core 2 Duo E7400 2.8GHz processor with 4GB of RAM and 2 500GB hard drives for total storage of 1TB. There is also a DVD+-RW dual-layer LightScribe compatible drive. The system has an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500HD and supports high quality audio and video.
It comes preinstalled with Windows XP Pro and Windows Vista Business operating systems. The media reader supports various memory card formats. Connection options include 7 USB ports, 2 FireWire ports, DVI, VGA, Ethernet, microphone and audio input and outputs. It comes with a keyboard and mouse and has room for expansion and upgrade. It actually ships with Windows XP and can be upgraded to Vista but I’d advise sticking with XP because it performs much better at the moment.
