You get a lot for your money with this Gateway system for $499.95. It is a quad core machine powered by an Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33Ghz processor with 4GB of RAM and a 640GB hard drive. The graphics are handled by an Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500 and there is also an 18x DVD+-R/RW drive with Label Flash and dual-layer support. This system supports high definition 5.1 channel audio and HDMI.
There are 9 USB ports in total, Ethernet, VGA, microphone and headphone ports. There is also a multi-card reader for memory cards in the front. The whole package is wrapped up in a compact tower with a handy device holder in the top. It comes with a keyboard, mouse and USB stereo speakers along with a software bundle which includes Windows Vista. All you need to complete the system is a monitor. This is a great value desktop PC.
