This Apple Mac desktop tower does not come cheap but it is seriously powerful and features the latest Intel processor – the 2.66GHz quad core Intel Xeon 3500 “Nehalem” processor. It also has 3GB of RAM (expandable to 8GB), a 640GB hard drive (expandable to 4TB) and an NVIDIA GeForce GT120 graphics card. There is a 16x SuperDrive which will burn all formats of CD or DVD and space for a second drive should you require it. There is also a great sounding Turbo Boost option which can boost the processor clock speed.
There is room to expand this machine and the stylish tower is cleverly designed to make additions relatively easy. The system has plenty of connectivity options including 4 FireWire ports, 5 USB ports with a further 2 on the keyboard and optical digital audio input and output. It comes preinstalled with Mac OS X v10.5 and a host of useful software and you also get a keyboard and mouse.
