If you want a good gaming machine and you have a healthy budget the Acer Aspire Predator combines futuristic angular case design with top of the range specs to cater for all your gaming needs. It certainly stands out from the crowd with a face plate which lifts up to allow access to the PC. Inside you’ll find an Intel Core i7 940 2.93GHz processor with 6GB of RAM and a 1TB hard drive. Graphics are taken care of by the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260. There is also a super multi drive, a multi-format memory card reader and Gigabit LAN.
This machine can also be upgraded and will support a second NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 as well as another 3 1TB hard drives which leaves plenty of room for expansion. It comes with Windows Vista pre-installed. You also get a gaming keyboard, mouse and USB speakers. The complete package will set you back around $2,000.
