Bose Computer MusicMonitor - speakers for your desktop

Posted Thursday, September 20th, 2007 by Alex Ion

Well I can tell you guys I am a fan of Bose and now I think they really made a product I will certainly buy. It looks like Bose thought of getting a small slice on the desktop speakers market with their new Bose Computer MusicMonitor, that boasts 25W and dimensions are 5 x 2 inch. They read the market really well because as announced by Bose’ business manager “the demand for smaller and better sound will never stop”. Release date is October 4th and if you want them, the price is $399.

iPhone Bluetooth Headset readyNews came in that the iPhone Bluetooth Headset is starting to kick in. A Flickr member, Nomad, have already seen it in an Apple store in Marlton, NJ and snapped pictures while unboxing it.

It comes in a black box that has the duo dock to charge both the iPhone and the headset at the same time and the travel charger to do it on the go. It also has a very nice feature : the magsafe connector, that allows to connect safely to the dock or to the cable. Another nice feature is that you get to see the charging status of the Bluetooth Headset directly on the iPhone if they are both seated in the dock.

Give Your Mouse A Bath!

Posted Thursday, July 12th, 2007 by Marius Trusculescu

Belkin washable mouseDo you consider your mouse needs a serious cleaning, but you are to lazy to carefully wipe it with a wet cloth? Well, Belkin has a solution, dump your old one and get their new washable mouse that you can even take with you under the shower.

Actually the device itself was designed to be water-resistant, because sometimes even the most careful person can spill a glass of Coke in front of their computer. If regular mouses would face a serious danger from such an event, Belkin’s product would not only be able to resist, but it would be able to withstand being hand-washed under a jet of water.

The 1200 dpi peripheral has a price of only $29.99 and it will be available starting August 2007 in the USA and at following dates for the rest of the world.

WildCharger Charging Pad And Phone Adapter for RAZR - iPod soon

WildCharger Charging Pad And Phone Adapter for RAZR - iPod soon

The concept that WildCharger uses, is really smart. Many of you may know of it but for those that still think it’s an UFO here is what happens. It uses non-inductive technology to pass the current from the strip to your device without using any wires but only some small adapters you place on the back of your gadget, be it a laptop , a mobile phone ,PSPs or iPods. Everything charges as soon as you place them on the WildCharger pad.

WildCharger has finally announced the release of a Motorola RAZR starter bundle to offer a charger pad and phone adapter. Buy it for $89.99, starting tomorrow if they keep their dates set. The other waited charger is for the Apple iPod which will be selling for the same price, but starting from August.

Such a device (pad and adapter) is useful only if you charge more items at a time. So, buy one in your office so that everyone charges when they need some power.

Canon ScanFront 220P For Professional Use (or not)

Posted Thursday, June 21st, 2007 by Alex Ion

You need a scanner for professional purposes then Canon is sure they have the perfect tool for you. ScanFront 220P is a very smart gadget for your office that will become a standard soon, and I say that because I would really love my scanner to save directly on FTP, NAS or attach the document to n email. Another thing that I enjoy greatly is the display where you can rename, tag or move into folders. I think even my mom would know how use this one, though she uses a computer twice a week.

I agree that Canon did a great job with the new ScanFront 220P, and I may want to add that to make it smarter, it has a biometric reader. I’ll put it in the “I want one” basket.

Notebook Wireless Number Pad from Logitech

Logitech NumberPad for Laptop

Whoever feels like using the number pad you had on your PC that you currently don’t have on your laptop, got their wishes come true. Logitech has a cordless number pad for those that need to work with spreadsheets or something related with lots of numbers. The price is $40 and I am not sure if it’s worth it if we think that the Logitech V250 Cordless Mouse and Number Pad is around $20.

I know the new number pad from Logitech looks much more like your notebook and the other one looks like a common mouse but the price is double and you actually get a mouse here, for less cash.

The Leather Mouse And USB Hub for Billionaires?

Posted Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007 by Alex Ion

Leather mouse and hubThe title says it all, and I guess the pictures, too. You get to see two fancy gadgets, the leather mouse and the leather USB hub, that your billionaire friends will appreciate during business meetings. I can bet my earnings that they would be much more jealous on your leather mouse rather than your Rolex, and that is because they already have one Rolex.

It really shows off. It inspires luxury thanks to the brown and black colors of the leather. However the guys at Earth Trek have two more colors: white and pink so that you make sure you can annoy the billionaire women you know. Buy one and make them cry when you browse devicepedia.com. We don’t know prices and availability, but hope to get it soon. - ALEX ION

Wii Light Gun - shoot it right!

Posted Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007 by Mihnea Boiangiu
Wii Light Gun

A new device for Wii gamers was revealed. It is the Wii Light Gun peripheral. The Light Gun has an attachment for the “Wii Remote”. Utilizing this gun you will feel a more realistic shooting session while playing the Duck Hunt. The Nunchuk can be connected too, through the special port.

From the same category, I found the Wii Combat Pack for games like Zelda or Red Steel. The Pack contains a sword and a shield. Obviously, the sword docks the Wiimote, while the Nunchuk is placed in the shield.

Both game packs are available for $19 in online stores. The good part is this devices are really cheap and you won’t need to worry if you find them uninteresting.
