Why Do You Need Cellphone Accesories?

Posted Friday, September 5th, 2008 by TechGeek

In my opinion, the cellular telephony is the best discovery from the computer to these days in terms of technology. Our lifestyle depends on the cellphone. Perhaps it happened to you to lose your mobile phone or to leave it home. Now, remember the feeling.

So, why do we need cellphone accessories? First of all, it’s because we care about our devices. That’s why the protection accessories are so necessary. Either you want cases, phone covers or screen protectors it’s because you love that gadget. Moreover many look for other kinds of accessories like snap-on covers, leather cases, pouches, lanyards and charms.

Secondly you need comfort. When you are driving or just staying in your office, a phone holder and a bluetooth headset are always appropriate. It always happens to me to receive a call when I don’t have free hands, but I can use my faithful headset.

Furthermore, people use other types of cellphone accessories like data cables, travel chargers, memory cards or batteries. Nevertheless, the phone users must pay attention where they buy these accessories. There are many fakes on the market which can be sold as licensed products. Thus they should find a trusted store. And because we have the Internet at our disposal I would recommend you these one - http://www.elitextreme.com.

The store offers all types of cellphone accessories, as I listed above. In addition you can find there PDA and MP3 accessories.

Meizu M8 Gets Detailed

Posted Wednesday, August 20th, 2008 by Alex Ion

Officially we knew it as Meizu M8 Mini One, but CEO J. Wong changed the way we’re going to address it and gave us a few official details (and a picture) on what to expect. The first models are going to roll out of the factory in October or November (the latest) are going to be white and the name is going to be just “M8″.

Though the new photo he’s luring us with is not revealing too much, we do know that the new Meizu M8 will feature a camera located far in one corner and should pack speakers on the side.

“I am even more anxious than you guys, we’ve put in so much effort for so long, I also desire to see some results” Wong said.

So it’s two or three months before we get a new phone on the market, the new Meizu M8.

HTC Touch Diamond on Sprint from September

Posted Tuesday, August 19th, 2008 by Alex Ion

Just a quick question. Would you buy the HTC Touch Diamond if it would be on Sprint, if it were $299. Of course that’s the price after signing a contract for 2 years and getting all sorts of rebates, but I still think that’s a good deal.

The main specs include the TouchFLO 3D user interface, a full HTML (Opera) browser, a 3.2 megapixel camera, 4GB internal memory, stereo Bluetooth technology and EV-DO Rev. A. It’s running Windows Mobile 6.1 and is going to offer support for Outlook Email, Sprint Mobile E-mail (IMAP and POP3), Picture Mail, Sprint Navigation and Live Search, Sprint TV and Sprint Music Store.

I don’t think that’s a bargain but I think Sprint is really going the right way with this one. I’d definitely get mine with them.

BlackBerry 8800

Posted Saturday, August 9th, 2008 by vernons

Over the last few years Blackberry has been pretty much dominating the smartphone market and in some ways they deserve it, introducing easy to use and reliable phones.  BlackBerry has recently introduced a stylish and powerful new phone called the BlackBerry® 8800.

BlackBerry® 8800

The BlackBerry® 8800 has been timely introduced to the market to compete against the IPhone 3G. The BlackBerry® 8800 is still dominating the business market and this phone is more proof as to why.
So what makes a BlackBerry® 8800 phone so compelling to business users? We believe it’s the following:

  • Excellent battery life – 528 hours of standby time
  • Excellent security – this phone is impossible to crack and safely stores your personal information.
  • Email support for Exchange (MS), Lotus (IBM) and GroupWise (Novel).
  • Reliability – We’ve never heard any reports of crashing or needing to restart your BlackBerry.
  • Ease of use – Simplicity is what people love and this what business users love about BlackBerry.

The thing that we like having on my smartphone is the option of taking a picture; the BlackBerry® 8800 doesn’t actually have a camera which is something we find strange that BlackBerry didn’t add.

Does anyone know why BlackBerry wouldn’t add a camera to a phone in this day and age?

HTC Touch Diamond, first batch shipped

Posted Friday, May 30th, 2008 by Alex Ion

HTC Touch Diamond

First batch of 10,000 units of HTC Touch Diamond have been shipped today to Hong Kong CSL. I’ll have to be honest and tell you that I’m already drooling but I can’t do anything about it. Just like all other I’ll have to wait till June, when HTC will begin shipping to European and Asia-Pacific operators. These are moments when I am glad I don’t live in the States because the report from Digitimes doesn’t mention anything about the new HTC Touch Diamond being shipped to US.
