Announced four months ago during the 2008 CES in Las Vegas, rumors say that the new Motorola RIZR Z10 is going to be available for sale, from April 14, but we have a few hints before other so here is a quick review.

I’ve checked TestFreaks and I must tell you the specs are very interesting.

I’ll start with the PROs as usual.

The new Motorola RIZR Z10 is actually a pocket sized complete mobile film studio that can shoot high quality video clips, is able to edit and to create transitions between scenes. You also get to add a soundtrack and title slides if you want to.

With these in mind I’m sure it would be a great tool for vloggers (video bloggers) because it supports Youtube, Google, Yahoo and ShoZu for fast image and video uploads.

What are the CONs?

There aren’t much I can comment on, but this sure doesn’t sound like a perfect phone so I have to be mean. So what I would add to make it perfect? Probably FM Radio with RDS and WLAN.

Today Motorola has unveiled its new handheld mobile computer called MC70. The device is more suitable for enterprise use rather than consumer use. Motorola MC70 features a GPS module, thus it can be used for shipping transports, tracking and guiding workers on the field and other navigation related activities.

Motorola MC70 uses the SiRFStar III GPS receiver. It features Bluetooth, barcode data and signature capture, and supports EDGE networks. ALK provides the software for the GPS module.

Its design was conceived to create a device resistant to water, dust, mechanic shocks or in hard work conditions like cold or hot weather. We didn’t find information about the pricing yet.

The FCC website is a very good source for news that have not yet been divulged to the public. It’s the case of the new Motorola RIZR Z6tv that we saw pictures of. You need to understand that this has not yet been announced by Motorola so what you see here is something they kept in the dark so far.

From a quick view on the FCC site I can tell you it has microSD card slot and Bluetooth 2.0, a 2-inch (?) QVGA display and a 2 megapixel camera. Something different to the new Motorola RIZR Z6tv is the VCAST Mobile TV feature and the 2.5mm headset jack. Not bad!

Motorola announced three new mobiles: MOTO Q, ROKR and MOTO Z8. I will write here about MOTO Z8. The cellphone is known as the world’s first kick slider. MOTO Z8 is expected in stores in Europe and Asia in June. MOTO Z8 supports mobile TV service using the 3.6Mbps HSDPA networks. In addition, it will come with a 512MB memory card which will be pre-loaded with the movie - “The Bourne Identity” from Universal Pictures.

Motorola has created a new spectacular design for MOTO Z8. I find it very attractive. Moreover, the list of specs it impressive. I will name a few main advantages of the MOTO Z8: a large 2.2″ QVGA TFT display, 2 megapixel camera with 8x zoom, media player, email software and Stereo Bluetooth wireless technology.

As I told you above, the phone supports microSD cards. The memory is expandable up to 4GB. In this way you could store hundreds of photos, favorite tracks or movies. It measures 109mm x 50mm x 15mm. Not so small, but very powerfull! Regarding the battery, Motorola says it lasts up to approximately 5 hours 3G talk time, up to approximately 16 days standby time, up to approximately 5 hours MPEG4(30fps) playing and up to approximately 12 hours of music playback. Motorola unveiled a new MOTORAZR V3i. New in fact is its color, which is purple. The new mobile is available on Motorola’s website for $239.99. Techdigest suggests that Motorola launched the phone before Mother’s Day in US (May 13th) to attract the attention for a special gift.

However the MOTORAZR V3i has some upgrades like illuminated keyboard, MPEG4 video playback, removable media cards, a DAP music player, and quad-band global GSM coverage. -MIHNEA BOIANGIU

I am not going to start this one by saying all the clamshell models Motorola launched during the last few months but they all seem to have something in common besides the *ZR suffix, and that is the design. There are rumors now that Motorola is launching a new LAZR model running on Linux and with 512 MB internal memory. It got from it’s bigger brother the KRZR the shinny looks, chromed casing and a 2-inch display. There are disadvantages like the non-existent memory card slot. The much anticipated RIZR Z3 handset has finally hit the market. After the initial red carpet debut Motorola’s GSM slider is now available from T-Mobile for all US costumers.

Benefiting from a gorgeous design, the new mobile phone is a real multimedia center features like picture taking and video recording trough a 2.0 MP digital camera as well as audio and video playback. As storage space might become an issue, the included micro SD slot can help upgrade the memory with up to 2 GB.

Looking at the long list of specifications the new model has to offer we must agree that : “Combined with a myriad of features, the beautifully crafted MOTORIZR Z3 also delivers a dynamic imaging and personalization experience”.

Like a response to LG Prada, Motorola has launched the new MOTORAZR V3i which carry D&G theme. It is modeled after the MOTORAZR V3, but the MOTORAZR V3i DOLCE & GABBANA has a luxurious gold and silver finish, with an engraved Dolce & Gabbana logo.

The phone keeps the same sleek design as RAZR V3. The handset comes complete with an integrated 1.23 megapixel digital camera, MP3 player and other multimedia capabilities. In addition to RAZR V3, the D&G phone supports microSD memory card. Stylish, smart, and sophisticated, the MOTORAZR V3i DOLCE & GABBANA retails for $349.99.

As expected, the 3GSM conference in Barcelona has kicked in with plenty of new products form the largest producers on the mobile phones market. Motorola, as one of the leaders, presented an impressive amount of new handsets in both the low-price and the high-end products arena.

The most noticeable are the new SLVR L9 multimedia phone, the MotoKRZR K3, the MotoRIZR 8 and the W510 mobile phones packed with a lot of multimedia features and benefiting from the world renowned beautiful Motorola style in design. Together with all these gorgeous looking handsets, Motorola also unveiled the new CrystalTalk technology meant at making conversations easier in noisy environments.

This new lineup comes to emphasize Ron Garriques statement who said “Motorola is focused on delivering must-have design and must-do experiences across all technologies and price tiers.”

In a press release today Motorola announced that its new MOTORIZR Z3 mobile phone will make its debut on the red carpet at this years Oscars night. Apparently Motorola is trying to capitalize on the huge media coverage of the event and hopes its phone will draw some attention. According to the company 25 nominees will receive personalized gift boxes with the Z3 making them the first consumers to use (if they will use them) Motorola’s handset.

In addition to the mobile phone two stylish Bluetooth headsets will also be included in the package box. Also each handset will have uploaded 10 fresh new songs that should permit a demonstration of the music playback capabilities of the multimedia phone.

As for as, the regular consumers, all we can do is wait until the product will be available in regular unpersonalized boxes, with no Bluetooth headsets and no extra music.
