CYON LG SH110 the New 3G Phone
Posted Monday, January 22nd, 2007 by Alex IonWe’ve been used to get new mobile phones launched for the Japanese market. but it looks like the Koreans of LGE have launched the new CYON LG SH110. If you expect it to be a new thing on a big market you should know that it doesn’t have special features that you won’t find in another mobile phone. It’s just an usual, charming and sleek mobile.
It comes gifted with a QVGA 240×320 TFT screen, Bluetooth and Irda, an MP3 player and a video player, Bluetooth headsets with 3G support and HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) that would allow browsing speeds up to 1.8MB. The 2 megapixel camera allows video recording and photo shooting with the built-in flash and digital zoom. It also features a VGA camera for 3G calls.
Thanks to the Universal Subscriber Identity Module (USIM) the phone is able to store personal information such as authentication data, which for example let’s you access easily your bank account. The CYON LG SH110 has some other usual specs such as alarm clock, calculator, calendar, PC sync, wallpaper, photo editor document viewer or photo album. Dimensions are 100×49x19mm. We are waiting for more data about a release date and the price.

The Bluetooth standard is of course implemented and the USB connection is as simple as possible. You can connect the phone to your PC using just an USB cable and there is no need for any piece of software as the Windows operating system will deal with it as with an ordinary memory stick. Moreover, you can use the 64 MB of the phone for mobile storage for small files like photos or music and even small video clips (as 64 MB is not very much when compared to today’s normal capacity of the USB flash drives).
