Google Nexus One

Posted Sunday, June 20th, 2010 by vernons

has delivered on its promise to produce their very own mobile . With the help of the Nexus One was produced using much of the same technology found on many of the Android phones. So what makes the Nexus One better than previous Androids? Well for starters the screen has been greatly improved with the AMOLED display that has greater pixel resolution then previous Androids and is very nice to look at.

The design of the phone is very stylish and comparable in size and shape to the iPhone. When talking on your Nexus One the screen automatically goes dark to avoid anything on the screen from being accidentally hit. A 5-megapixel camera now comes with a LED flash that is not commonly found on Android phones. Voice recognition on the phone has also been improved to include the ability to text, email, and get directions with the power of your voice. The only problem is you will have to talk a bit slower then normal in order for the phone to properly recognize what you are saying. Thanks to the improved processing power of Snapdragon and the larger 1GHz processor the Nexus One runs much quicker and more smoothly then previous Android phones. With this faster hardware everything on the Nexus One runs much better. By placing two microphones on the phone, one on the bottom and one on the back, there is better noise cancellation technology. For example while you are talking on your phone if the background noise increases your phone will automatically readjust the volume to increase so you can still hear your conversation. The same is true if the background noise decreases.

Overall the Nexus One is currently the best Android phone on the market, just don’t get to excited about the technology since nothing really revolutionary has been added to this phone.
