Toshiba teasing with a WQUXGA 22-inch monitor that does 3,840×2,400 resolutions

Toshiba teasing with a WQUXGA 22-inch monitor that does 3,840×2,400 resolutionsIt’s been some time since we talked about some fancy monitors. Toshiba is trying to make us drool with their newest WQUXGA 22-inch monitor they’re working on, which does 3,840×2,400 resolutions. This really sounds interesting, right? But would you be set back if I tell you this little one sports 300:1 contrast ratios? Would you be interested to know that you’d have to pay $18,000 for the monitor itself and another $2,700 if you plan to connect it to your PC? I am sure I can’t afford to pay 20 grand on a monitor and I guess Gizmodo heard me because they found a 22-inch WQUXGA by ADTX which costs only (not sure what contrast rate or resolution) $1,700.

Samsung LN-52F91BD - HD LCD Display With LED Backlight

Technology advances when it comes to monitors and this time Samsung delivered something great. Samsung LN-52F91BD is a 52-inch full HD LCD display that has LED backlight which is supposed to offer better brightness than what we had a few years before.
This little one is pretty big for me to use for me to watch the Gladiator and feel like one. It sports 3 HDMI 1.3 ports, USB 2.0 and Infolink function that will give you stock quotes and news updates from MSN. My office cries for such, but I should spare 4800 euros to buy one from Korea, because there’s where they have it now.

Sony PRS-505 eBook Reader Already For Sale

The official announcement saying that Sony PRS-505 eBook Reader will be available in stores and will ship this month for $300, we have updates on that one. Apparently, and it’s been just a few hours, on their store - SonyStyle - it’s for sale for the exact price of $299.99 in silver or dark blue.Sony PRS-505 is an upgrade for their older 500 model, that brings a better contrast in the new electronic paper display. There are a few things I would appreciate if I were to buy one, like USB sync with the PC, both SD cards and Memory Stick Duo, and those 100 Connect eBook Classic titles plus two lines of engraving which are free when you purchase. So yeah, that makes it a good choice if you have use for it.
