BenQ DC C1060 compact camera
Posted Thursday, October 9th, 2008 by Alex IonIt’s been a while since our last digital camera, here on DevicePedia, so what I’m about to show you today is the new BenQ DC C1060. It’s a compact camera with a slightly different design than the C1050 that BenQ released last month with specs that are just about the same.

Packed with the new BenQ DC C1060, there’s a 10 megapixel sensor, a 2.7-inch LCD display, 3x optical zoom, a “Super Shake Free” system for those with shaky hands, the Smile Catch technology (some sort of face detection) and the ability to record video at 720 x 400 or 640 x 480. Other than these tech specs, the new style of the C1060 includes a leather texture grip which, trust me, feels great in your hand.
There’s no release date or a price, yet, but we’ll keep you posted.

blur the hand motion sometimes generates. Although the 12 MB of built-in memory will most likely prove insufficient, the X725 has a SD memory card slot which can increase the storage of the device by up to 4 GB.

compact digital camera is an affordable device for a wide range of users. “The BenQ DC E610 is a perfect option for users looking for a convenient way to enter the digital photography market,” told Conway Lee, BenQ Digital Media Business Group General Manager.
