Sony Cyber-Shot DSC W300 is the latest digital camera with resolution of 13.6 mega pixels. The optical sensor type is Super HAD CCD and the effective sensor resolution is 13,600,000 pixels. The digital zoom is 2x with many shooting modes and has an optical image stabilizer.
The shooting programs contain many modes like twilight, portrait, hi-speed shutter, smile shutter, high sensitivity, underwater, soft snap, landscape, fireworks, beach and snow etc. The maximum shutter speed is 1/2000 sec and the minimum shutter speed is 30 seconds. The exposure metering options are Spot, Multi segment and Centre weighted.
The exposure modes for Sony Cyber-Shot DSC W300 Digital Camera are program and automatic with face detection feature. It also contains white balance options like Custom, Presets and Automatic. The white balance presets are cloudy, daylight, incandescent, flash and fluorescent light. The digital video format is MPEG VX and still image product is JPEG.

It contains motorized drive adjustment with Aspherical lens and built-in-lens shield. The additional features include Incamera Red Eye Removal, Dynamic Range Optimizer, Digital Noise Reduction, Digital Image Rotation, USB 2.0, PRINT Image Matching, 16:9 widescreen, PictBridge support, Histogram display, Auto power save and DPOF support.
The view-finder type of SONY DSC W300 is optical real image zoom and the display type is TFT active matrix with 2.7 inches with colour. It has built-in display form factor with 230,000 pixels of display format. The connections have 1 x USB, 1 x Composite video/audio output and an expansion slot of 1 x Memory Stick PRO Duo.
