This is a handy camcorder with a 60GB built in hard drive. The professional quality Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens has a powerful 25x optical zoom. There’s a color touch panel LCD display which can be swivelled to any angle. The screen is 2.7 inches wide and capable of displaying in 16:9 format. The camera offers great quality footage at 1.07 megapixel CCD and you have a choice to record to hard drive or memory stick.
There are a range of settings for any scene and several onboard fader and picture effects. There is also a built in zoom microphone with 5.1 channel recording for terrific sound quality. You can hook the camcorder up to your PC via a USB cable and burning your captured footage to DVD is an easy one button process. This is a great blend of convenience and quality and for under $400 it is an attractive camcorder package.
