This is a 10.1 megapixel digital camera with superb clarity and contrast thanks to the 1/ 2.3 inch Super HAD CCD image sensor. The Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens allows for close up shooting at just 1cm from the subject and it features 5x optical zoom. The bright color 3.5 inch LCD display allows you to set up and review the perfect shots and features touch screen controls.
Not only can the camera capture terrific quality photos it can also record high definition video at 720p in the MPEG4 AVC/H.264 format. It has built in face detection, anti-blur, auto stabilization and a number of simple quick modes suited to any situation. It is a highly sensitive camera with a range of ISO setting options for any lighting conditions. It has 4MB of internal memory which can be bolstered with a Memory Stick Duo. It is compatible with other Sony devices and you can of course hook it up to your computer. You can even retouch photos with the in-camera editing tools. It costs $249.99.
