This is a handy, simple to use point and shoot camcorder from Sanyo. It supports high definition footage at 720p and 30 frames per second and it is also capable of capturing still shots at 10 megapixels. It features a 3 inch widescreen LCD which can flip 285 degrees so you can always get the right angle. The camcorder also has a 5x optical zoom function. The Face Chaser technology is capable of recognising and optimising for up to 12 faces which is great for group shots or videos.
There is a built in image stabilizer to combat shake and the video is recorder in the H.264 MPEG 4 format. There is a sequential photo shoot mode which allows you to take 14 pictures at 7 frames per second, an ideal for capturing action. With a 16 GB SDHC memory card you’ll be able capture almost 4 hours of HD video. It starts up very quickly so you never miss the moment and it hooks up easily to your other devices so you can share and watch your footage and photos.
