This is a great camcorder for the casual user. You can record up to 16 hours of footage on a 32GB memory card and it has a battery life of three hours from a single charge. You can record at 4:3 or 16:9 aspect ratio and you can capture high resolution 680K pixel video CCD, there is also an optimized recording mode for YouTube. It is easy to pick up and shoot and the built in face detection and automatic image stabilization help to ensure you get the footage you want.

The Schneider Lens has 34x optical zoom for long distance shots. It will take SD or MMC memory cards and there is a USB port for uploading MPEG4 videos or JPEG images onto your PC. It is very compact and also features a built in microphone and a 2.7 inch color LCD display. It comes in a choice of black, blue or red and costs around the $200 mark.
