Pentax Optio W80 Waterproof Digital Camera

This 12.1 megapixel camera has been designed specifically for outdoor adventurers. It is waterproof up to 16 feet, coldproof as low as -10 degrees C and also dustproof and shockproof. In addition to still shots this camera can also capture video at 1280 x 720 pixels and 30 frames per second. It has a 5x optical zoom function and automatic shake reduction. There are eight different modes and you can set it to select automatically. The face detection can also detect up to 32 faces and there is smile capture and blink detection technology in there as well.
The 2.5 inch LCD display is anti-reflective and perfect for outdoors use. You’ll need to get an SD or SDHC memory card with it to store your shots. This is really designed for outdoor trips and probably won’t make the best point and shoot camera for typical every day use. Reviews report quite a bit of noise and it seems this camera may be a weak link in the Pentax range.
