This is a wireless surveillance camera from Panasonic which works as a standalone device. If you want to check out what is happening at home during the day or keep an eye on your pets then this device is ideal. You can plug it in wherever you want it (no PC required) and then view and control it across the internet through your web browser. There is no software install necessary. You’ll be able to pan and tilt the camera and it has up to eight shooting positions which can be registered in advance.
The camera also has a heat sensor which can be used to activate it when someone enters the room. You can also set it to work automatically and you can record at preset times or speeds. It works on the Wi-Fi 802.11 b or g standard. It produces MPEG-4 and JPEG format files. It has a night view mode and a built in microphone and the privacy mode prevents anyone else accessing he camera footage. This is an easy device to set up and it is decent quality. It will cost you just over $250.
