This is currently on offer at $119.95 on Amazon and it represents great value for money at that price. It is a 12 megapixel camera with a 3x optical zoom. It also has a 3 inch color screen for reviewing and setting up shots and Smart Capture which automatically selects the best settings and helps you to capture the best photos in different situations. There is built in face detection, anti-blur and auto modes for specific subjects.
You can also capture audio and video at up to 640 x 480 pixels and 30 frames per second. It comes with 16 MB of internal memory but it takes SD and SDHC memory cards so you can boost that easily. In terms of power it requires 2 AA batteries. With the Kodak EasyShare software you can upload videos to YouTube or pictures to the Kodak gallery with the touch of a button. If you need an easy to use compact with video capture and you have a tight budget then this is a winner.
