DC X720 - Slim As A Model
Posted February 11th, 2007 by Marius TrusculescuA new wave of slim camera’s is conquering the digital photography market and maybe the main reason is the cool design. There is definitely something sexy about slim gadgets as they appeals to both the men and the women buyers and the designers are trying to fit as many features possible into the smallest package on the market.

BenQ’s engineers managed to present us with a great device by including in the half a inch (1.25 cm) thick DC X720 a 7 MP sensor, a 2.5″ larger than average LCD display and a high quality set of lenses. Even if the packaging is so small, BenQ’s digital camera offers 3x optical zoom along with the 4x digital zoom trough a beautifully designed objective.
Offering the possibility of taking pictures up to a resolution of 3072 x 2304 (7MP), the DC X720 also allows for video recording in the VGA standard (640×480 pixels) at 30 fps (frames per second). As the 18 MB of included memory might prove insufficient BenQ added an SD compatible expansion slot which allows the increase of the storage capacity by up to 2 GB.
Looking back at all the features it’s obvious the DC X720 is a great device and when you consider the sexy design it becomes an almost irresistible purchase.
